2021 Independent Publishing Awards

We are delighted to announce that Bristol University Press, and its imprint Policy Press, have been shortlisted for the PLS Academic and Professional Publisher of the Year at the Independent Publishing Awards 2021.

The judges said, "Bristol University Press’ publishing really means something. They’re clear on what they want to achieve, and determined that not even a pandemic will get in their way."

The Independent Publishing Awards honour the success and creativity of the UK’s independent publishing sector. They are an annual celebration of achievements across many different areas of publishing, and have recognised more than 150 companies and individuals since launching in 2007. The Independent Publishing Awards are managed by the IPG, supported by our valued partners in publishing, and judged by industry experts.
