The British Association of Social Workers (BASW) is the UK’s professional, independent organisation for social work. Policy Press is proud of our co-publishing partnership with BASW which dates back to the publication of our flagship BASW and Policy Press title, ‘Scandal, Social Policy and Social Welfare’ in 2005 and has since expanded to include over thirty titles across two book series: Social Work in Practice and our original BASW/Policy Press series.

Our diverse range of titles published in association with BASW includes high-quality, core textbooks and accessible monographs spanning contemporary developments in the social work field.
