Sex and Intimacy in Later Life
Series Editors: Paul Simpson, Independent Academic, Paul Reynolds, International Network for Sexual Ethics and Politics and The Open University and Trish Hafford-Letchfield, University of Strathclyde
Older people are commonly characterised as non-sexual, or their sexuality is considered a superficial concern in comparison to health, public services and pensions. This is despite evidence of an increase in sexual engagement amongst older people.
This new, internationally-focused series will build on, extend and deepen knowledge of the experiential, empirical and theoretical landscapes of sex and ageing. Find out more about the series here.
New Series: Sustainable Care
Series Editors: Sue Yeandle, CIRCLE, University of Sheffield, Jon Glasby, University of Birmingham, Jill Manthorpe, King’s College London and Kate Hamblin, CIRCLE, University of Sheffield
Arising from research in the ESRC Sustainable Care: connecting people and systems programme, this new book series will provide novel, interdisciplinary and internationally informed contributions to understanding care systems, care work and care relationships. Contributions are based on studies conducted in the UK and with international partners studying linked topics in their own countries. Find out more about the series here.
New Series: Transforming Care
Series Editors: Costanzo Ranci, Polytechnic University of Milan, and Tine Rostgaard, Stockholm University and Roskilde University
Addressing social care and care policy and practice at an international level, this timely new series provides a crucial platform for scholars researching early childhood care, care for adults with disabilities and long-term care for frail older people. Find out more about the series here.
NEW SERIES: Death and Culture
Series Editors: Ruth Penfold-Mounce, University of York, UK, Julie Rugg, University of York, UK and Jack Denham, York St John University, UK
