Celebrating our 2020 Journal Impact Factors

Bristol University Press, and its imprint Policy Press, are delighted to announce our 2020 Journal Impact Factors. This year has seen us make significant gains in the Journal Citation Reports.

These results are a compelling endorsement of the quality of our journals and their value to the scholarly community. As a not-for profit publisher with a unique social mission, we are proud to work with our editorial teams to produce research that has both real world and academic impact.

We are particularly pleased to see our longest-established journal, Policy & Politics, achieve its highest ever Impact Factor and retain its well-deserved position within the top quartile of political science journals worldwide.”

Julia Mortimer, Journals and Open Access Director

We want to thank all authors, reviewers, editors, and partners for their contributions which are essential to the continued success of our journals.

To celebrate this result, we have created a free collection of highly cited articles. This collection features papers that have contributed to our 2020 Impact Factors, and more recent papers we feel will promote our journals’ future impact.
