Policy Press and the Social Policy Assocation

The Social Policy Association (SPA) is the professional association for lecturers, researchers and students of social policy in the UK and internationally and have been valued partners of Policy Press for many years.

This long-standing relationship began in 2003 with the publication of the Understanding Welfare textbook series, many titles of which are now in their second edition. We also publish two other series in association with the SPA, the Social Policy Review series and Research in Comparative and Global Social Policy series.
